gaaaahhhh ds is driving me up the wall....

3.9 year old ds doesn't want to 'do' anything today other than torment the dogs. He's not really tormenting them but they are old and all they want to do now is sleep.....they don't want to play and he will not leave them alone.
We've baked a cake.....so that was 30 mins of peace. But now we've done that he just doesn't want to do anything but play with the dogs. He won't paint, he won't come outside, he doesn't want to watch a dvd....

Give me strength! how am i going to get through the afternoon?

The park?

the hosepipe came to my rescue.....i finally persuaded him to come out and pot on his sunflowers, with the promise he could water the garden.
There is a small park up the road, but it means a drive and getting him into the car can be a bit of a battle (he's always convinced we're going somewhere boring)....and it's not a brilliant park to be honest.

he's now up to his elbows in green icing, some of which is making it onto the cake we baked earlier.
