car seats - dangerous?

My toddler has just knocked my four-week old dds car seat onto the kitchen floor from the table, it landed with a huge bang -- do you think it is still safe?? It is a Britax Rock-a-tot... I know you mustn't use any car seat that has been in a car crash so I am a bit scared to use it, but I can't see any big cracks or anything. Probably just being paranoid...?

I am not sure anyone can really tell you for sure.

Ring Britax. They can advise you. I have phoned in the past for advice and they don't tell you you need a new seat unnecessarily ime.
