My DD is 7 mths and although the BG seems to fit around the ample leg it seems to gape at the waist? Do you think I should try a different all in one?

Really? I use BumGenius and you can pull the tabs really tight. I guess it's OK unless things start escaping ;) However, babies come in all shapes and sizes, as do nappies, might be worth trying a different one.
