Accidentally started potty training yesterday! DD (2.3) has been persistently stripping off naked for weeks now while in the house and on a few occasions has used the potty by herself to much fanfare from us! On Friday we were shopping so decided to buy her some pants to save us another trip (can't stand shopping) but weren't really intending to use them yet! DD has other ideas...

So she wore them all afternoon yesterday (about 4.5 hrs) and has been nappy free for about 2.5 hrs today. No accidents - but that's because she hasn't weed at all. Now, she doesn't drink much (and never has) and some days pretty much refuses fluid other than milk (she always has plenty before nap and before bed) and yesterday was one of those days. I still thought 4 hours without a wee was excessive but let it go on that occasion.

This morning she has had lots of fluid (she is like a camel! however, I am trying to change this - can't be good for her) and still hasn't weed.

So - is it back in nappies (I'm thinking this is the way to go) before she gives herself a kidney infection or somesuch? Or does she have a bladder like a whale?
