Toddler playgroups and antibiotics - would you take your child?

DS1 has just started a dose of antibiotics for a throat infection. I don't know if he is allowed to go to playgroup or not. He no longer has a temp so am wondering if I should keep him home or take him to playgroup (he is begging to go)

Are your children’s vaccines up to date?

I would have thought the kiddie would be OK to attend playgroup, as long as he is not infectious. Quick call to the GP to get a telephone consultation with the practice nurse to check?
