pile of prefolds.. what to do with them?

I have inherited a pile of prefolds. Atm i have a nearly 6m old and use size 1 lollipop fluffle things or size 2 tots fluffles, which i like. Don't like the origami aspect of the prefolds but I am hoping they might come in handy when ds has grown out of the size ones. I am thinking of some kind of pocket nappy, that looks cool that is not too expensive and easy for nursery etc to use, any suggestions? Ta!

I use prefolds with a wrap, but I've also got some naturebabies stuffables - works well for wriggly 1 year old for ease of putting on, but more prone to leaks than totsbot + wrap.

They might be just the job for nursey actually www.naturebabies.co.uk/index.php?cat=Stuffable_pocket_nappies

OOOO!! they look nice!
I have been using the odd prefold with a wrap when my nice nappies are in the bucket (only wash once a week!) but its a faff and my bloke won't use them. So can't see nurery getting on with them v . well.

I need to buy summat in size 2 and think buying something to use with the prefolds may work out cheaper

It might be worth getting more size 2 tots for you to use at home & a few of the nature babies for nursery/dp/babysitters - IME nothing ever leaks out of a totsbot, whereas even the best stuffable can't always be relied on...

I find prefolds with a wrap come into their own once the child's older - so they can a) lie still whilst you put it on & b) tell you as soon as they've pooed! Slimmer in trousers too.
