Just outside glasgow is the beardmore hotel in Clydebank that has a pool and a spa. there's the mar hall in renfrewshire. Cameron house loch lomond...

These are all just outside glasgow but I don't think any of the hotels within glasgow have pools.

Can't speak for any of them specifically but here's some www.glasgow-city-hotels.co.uk/index_pool.php

Link to other thread with responses on hotels in Glasgow.

As well as the Hilton, Radisson and Marriott, the Crowne Plaza (the old Moat House) beside the SECC and opposite the Science Centre also has a pool. There are some good restaurants close by (eg "2 Fat Ladies at the Buttery" and its cheaper sister restaurant underneath it, the Chandon Belle) The Science Centre opposite might also be interesting for your dd (although be warned - unlike all the other museums in Glasgow, you do need to pay to get in - and it is not cheap!)

Forgot about the Menzies. Not sure it would qualify as a "lovely" hotel though (as per the original request)

I think the Thistle Hotel has a pool - and it's handy for the shops

I was at the Menzies hotel last weekend, I thought it was a good hotel. Pool and jacuzzi were lovely, there was a gym and also sauna and steam room. Seemed nice and clean, and the staff were very helpful. The room I was in was huge! It's in the business district of the city, so is a little cut off from the main shopping/tourist area, but no more so that the Marriot and Hilton, which are just up the hill.
