16 mo taking off her nappy and peeing all over the floor, should I potty train?

I think the title says most of it. I was thinking of leaving it until at least she could talk, but since this floor mopping is becoming a nightmare I was wondering if it's worth trying when we are at home only.

Any advice is welcome.

It won't hurt. Just leave a potty somewhere accessable.

I would! She's obviously decided nappies aren't the place for her wees, see if she's interested in a potty. You could use role play to get her teddies or dolly to do a wee wee on it.

That's a good idea. I've got a potty today, but she didn't understand that it is for sitting, just wanted to stand on it. Maybe if the teddy sits there! I will leave it around for a few days and see what happens.
