Anyone made their own AIO nappies or wraps (or knows about fabric)?

I am thinking about making my own nappies in order to feed my addiction. I will do some just shaped but was thinking about doing a waterproof layer in a couple to make AIOs, so have been looking for some fabric which is waterproof but washable (I made some nappy-off time mats with tent-type fabric, which started off waterproof but isn't any more!).

So far I have found

this - seller says she doesn't know whether it's waterproof but people have used it for clothes/nappy wraps (but that doesn't mean it stays washable)

or this - seller says it's washable

or I could just stop being a cheapskate and use PUL, but it works out about £10 a metre from Minki.

Any advice/suggestions?

Neither of them say what fabric it actually is.
PUL is the best for proper waterproofing (polyurethane laminate) - it isn't stretchy so I wonder what material they are advertising.
Minki use PUL to back their washable menstrual pads, which we sell, and it is good stuff. I know it is expensive but have you tried looking for it on other websites?

Yeah, Minki is the only place I've found it in the UK. Might have another look I guess. It is a bit weird that they don't say what the fabric is!

One of the patterns I have mentions ripstop nylon as a waterproof layer, but again I can't find out whether it stays waterproof.

Why could I not find this before?
