Shopping with baby in pram (hot-then-cold problem)....

Not the world's greatest problem (and getting better with nicer weather), but anway:

What do you tend to do about taking a baby round the shops when they need a coat for outside but it's too hot for a coat inside? Do you just keep hauling baby in and out of pram to put coat on and off, or does your baby not mind keeping the coat on?

Just asking because my DD won't tolerate shops if in her coat because she gets hot so quickly, but getting her in and out of pram repeatedly gets a bit wearing after 2+ shops! Have tried a blanket but her arms and chest are still out. Sometimes you can't avoid shopping with a baby even though I try, and can't always stick to indoor shopping centre.

Thanks...

How old is your baby?

I had one of these here

It was brilliant when my two were little and I didn't bother with a coat at all.

I have a buggy snuggle cosy toes on the buggy (basically a thick fleece sleeping bag).

DS wears a long sleeved vest and long sleeved top and a coat and a hat (no jumper) and the cosy toes up to and tucked in around his chest.

In shops I just pull it away and unzip his coat too if needs be.
If it's really cole outside, I have an extra blanket on top.
