Are your children’s vaccines up to date?
Cynthia32 · 26/03/2009 17:21

Yes I would think so. Maybe a bottle of wine as well?

Alibabaandthe40nappies · 26/03/2009 18:24

Yes I think so. It's always a bit embarassing if someone is over grateful IYKWIM?

ICANDOTHAT · 26/03/2009 18:37

Sounds perfect ... that's a really nice gesture

I've been in that situation too and DS1 has ended up at the grandparents of a child he knows at school! At least you've met this other mum! I did chocolates and profuse apologies and thankyous.

Flowers and offer sounds just right.

Sounds like you may have just made a new friend D

mullercorner · 26/03/2009 19:30

yes - flowers and a return of the offer is perfect.

I had to do this the other day aswell and also felt sick to the stomach.

I dont feel guilty now as we do it regularly
