Anyone been to a Park Caravan holiday resort?

I know it's probably not the best place to post this, but I can't find a link for holiday threads so here goes!
Has anyone been to a Park caravan resort and if so, what was it like? I am thinking of booking for Cayton Bay (Scarborough, Yorkshire) but am put off by how cheap it is. The pictures look ok on the website, but I am not sure!

I have used parkdean holidays before and they are ok. I stayed at Newquay, its just on the outskirts and just off a main road where a local bus runs along which takes you to Newquay centre. We stayed there a few years ago and although there was not a great deal to do there was the usual you would find on a caravan park (not as much as butlins or haven i think). They also have caravan parks around the country - but none in the northeast.

I think they are ok. I have heard of a few people who have used them (am a Haven girl myself though). Nothing wrong with cheap caravan holidays IMHO.

I've been to Park Resorts Camber Sands, it was absolutely fine, in fact the caravan was cleaner and nicer than our lodge at Center Parcs the other week!

The entertainment was cheesy as anything but good fun as long as you enter into the spirit of it. The pool and playground were good. Definitely a different demographic from CP but much better value for money imo.

Obviously can't comment on the individual site, some will be better than others...

OOooh OOOoohh I went to camber sands when I was younger and it was good. My dad won the adult talent contest and we had to go back again for the final. The fact that my mum went back a second time says that it must have been good (she is very fussy).
