Am I a lazy parent because my one month old has a dummy????

I nearly punched my ex boss today for calling me a lazy parent for 'shoving a dummy in her mouth'. She said oh come on its just shutting her up not dealing with her!!

If I hadn't had my children with me I'd have knocked her head off her shoulders!!!

And with the lazy parenting, i have seen many a parent shove a dummy in at any inkling of noise. I never really understood that.

not a lazy parent no, but i do agree hate it when they're shoved in repeatedly by frantic parents even when the poor baby keeps spitting it out and rooting.

And HATE it when they're used to "spin them out between feeds" because a young baby is on some sort of bollox routine, if they're hungry then feed them! Don't gag them with a dummy!
