Sore bum 21 months old insists sitting on her potty...

She hasn't had poo in 2 days now and I think she wants to poopoo (and I can smell it), but it's not coming out. She hates her nappies and she has been sitting on her potty almost all day today. I have feeling that she wants to potty train herself. What do I do now...I was going to try this summer when she is two years old at least.

Give her some orange juice and let her get on with it - if she's made a connection between nappies and sore bum she's probably motivated enough to potty train!

All right....(grumbles..) wouldn't have minded more nappies, just easier and I'm just lazy. And also why does she get sore bum when she sits on her potty for long time..(she doesn't want to get up from it and checks if she has done peepee or poopoo)?? Is she going to get whatyoucallit grape thingy that way??
