Maybe a bit OT but how do you become a nappy agent?

I ask since I am the only person I know who uses reuseables for their LO and I kind of fancy spreading the word in an active (and hopefully slightly lucrative) way.

Do any of you cloth addicts have any advice or tips for me? I'm not looking to make my fortune here, more supplement my income and do my bit for the planet [bashful / tongue in cheek emoticon].

I live in Luxembourg so I doubt I'd competing with any of you!

TIA.

If you chack out lollipop's website or babykind, they have agents all over the country.

The lollipop one you have to pay for your basic demonstration kit (£150), but you get some training. commission is 20% iirc and you can also get commission of people quote your seeler number when buying online. they have tie ins with Close baby, Perfectly Happy People and another baby goods company so there is scope for selling and earning a bit of commission on that too.

bleargh....after typing all that I read that you are in Luxembourg

ermm....not sure if they would consider an overseas agent, but you could ask for nothing!!

Thanks LackaDAISYcal. Will check them both out.

Hi Broguemum. Might aswell send out a few feelers. Babykind were more than happy to supply to me in spain. However before getting to far into that side of it do see if you can find out about the tax situation in luxembourg. It became unfeasible for me to do it here as nappies carry a 20% tax (compared to 0% in uk) so I would have had to hoik the price up so high to make a profit it just didn't make any sense

Good luck though, if your tax situation over there is more favourable you could have a whole new market to tap into
