aww! my dd made a card at playgroup today. i think she enjoyed sucking the candles n her nose into her mouth more than she did making the card, and she was more interested in her biscuit than the story time talk about how lovely mummies are... ah well, she is just over two, mnaybe next year?

DS came home with the card he made for me but he was really grumpy as he didn't win the Mother's Day card competition. It was lovely though.

What a lovely story OP

I got mine this week from DS, a few days early. It was a home made card with a little gift inside and he was so excited and pleased to give it to me!

I was thrilled to bits too.

How lovely. Ds brought my nursery made sweets out, showed them to me and then told me we'd be sharing. So he ate them in the car before I even got a good look. Sigh.

at toddlers this morning the mummies helped the little ones make their own cards...some mums even wrote in them...it all seemed slightly surrel, but my dd had a blast!

How lovely

I got my card yesterday and a 'present' of made flowers in a decorated plastic cup today. I also got a piece of cake they made although DS1 ate that before we even got home

dilemma That's lovely!

My DSs made cards at Cubs and Beavers, but I'm not meant to know.

DS1 asked me today "what are we doing tomorrow?"

DS2 (age 5) said "Whatever she wants, it's Mother's Day" (I swear I did not put him up to it)

I had DC2 card from nursery on Wednesday. He was very proud of it. It is in the shape of a tea pot and has a tea bag inside . He was so proud of it. I was chuffed with it to. Though when DC1 was at the same nursery had the exact same one the two years he was there DC3 starts next year, any one want to take bets on what the card is going to be

DC1 gave me his card on Friday. He produced it from his bag and gave me and hug and told me he loved me and what a special Mummy I was, cue a very teary Mummy.
