Feel so guilty about missing dd's swimming lesson. Make me feel better!

I am 9 weeks pregnant and just can't face it. Lesson is at half 1.
I have to get in.

I feel bad as I have missed a few recently. And annoyingly I felt ok last week but they cancelled due to an 'incident' at the pool so we couldn't go.

She does have a cold though so probably shouldn't go ( wishfull thinking). She doesn't know it's today.

We are not rebooking next term. I've had enough I'll start her again when she can go in alone. Dh took them at weekend so she doesn't misss out totally.

It's annoying as we've paid for term too. 2 lessons to go.

right you slack and lazy mum get on that sofa with a mug of tea and a mound of biccies and read her a story as punishment.
Honestly don't worry she will still learn to swim before she is forty.
i am not rebooking ds for next term as he just stands on the top step water lapping his toes and screaming its too cold. what a waste of money.
i reckon a few trips to the beach and a hot summer will cure his acversion to cold water.
whereas dd is a mermaid.

Ah, don't worry about it. DD1 missed a swimming lesson last term because I had been shopping in town with 4-mo DD3 in tow, came back in just enough time to collect from school then went straight home for a cuppa. 45 minutes later, remembered she should have gone straight to the pool. Would have got away with it if I hadn't shouted 'Oh bugger!" when I realised what I'd done.

I haven't been to ours for 3 weeks now (2 DSs paid upfront). Last night we didn't go because it was too sunny. Slack excuse but enjoyable nonetheless. MUCH better than containing anger at them running around and ignoring requests to get dressed/undressed.

Thanks guys

After I posted that I went to bed till school, put Cinderella on for dor dd to watch in my bed. And it's such a sunny day
Forced myself to do the school run, had 2 extras as well

Thought I was either going to be sick or have an accident at school

Been on the loo since we've got back...

Feel manky

I'm glad I'm not the only one who forgets/misses classes.
