Collapse in front of telly for a bit. Eat tea. Do homework. Choose some mindless electrical thing for an hour. Regroup in living-room for last bit of telly en-famille. Go to bed between 9 and 9.30pm.

I don't allow messenger or IM-ing so the lure of the PC isn't that strong.

Comes in around 4.10pm, dumps his bag in the hall, gets his laptop out, asks me to get him a drink (I make him get his own!) does anything on the laptop apart from doing what he should be doing - homework!

Finally, after much moaning he starts his homework, we have tea, DH and I go through anything he does not understand with the homework, watch some tv, have a shower/bath then he goes to bed at 9.00pm.

Arrives home around 4.45pm (depending on after school clubs etc) .... has a drink and snack. Chills in front of the box, hangs out in bedroom, exchanges emails, texts with mates (even though he's been with them at school all day !!), does homework. As weather gets better, he'll pop out for bike ride with a friend or pop to driving range (very lucky to have one in next street). If I'm really lucky, he'll tell me what's happened at school that day. Dinner around 6pm, family time and then shower 'n' bed at around 9pm.
