& the potty out (her doing, I've tried before & never got anywhere).

I'm kinda assuming, since she took the nappy off & got the potty out herself, she must be about ready to use it so just let her get on with it & clean up any accidents as and when they happen?

Sounds perfect . We're doing sticker chart and smarties for each performance too. Inevitably for about a day they try to pee every 5 mins to up their smartie tally, but then seem to lose interest ...

We also have wipes/loo paper handy and terry squares to chuck down on any accidents.

lucysmam - that is exactly what we did. DD took her nappy off for a while, loves running around naked, she wanted the potty out, so it was there, most of the time to start, she did not quite get there in time, then she did! No training required, she did it herself.

I didn't get chance to check this last night, love the smartie tally idea, except I think there would be a paddy for the entire tube if she knew they were there

I'll stick to letting her run around in the niff if that's what keeps her happy. & if she learns to use the potty then it's a bonus, if not then never mind

Fantastic, looks like she is self training and saving you the bother. What age is she ?

She's 2.2yo. I'm quite glad she's taken it on herself to do tbh, she suffers quite often with constipation so am hoping this helps her with that as I have a feeling it's the uncomfyness (is that a word??) of doing a No2 in a nappy that puts her off
