Should I send it in a folder or what?

Bummer - it is in three section plus 2 articles does each one go separately or is it all together?

Major panic as I don't have time to ask my tutor

bound all together.
It should be bound in:
a spiral binder
OR
a hard cover

A folder isn't good enough. The point is it must be tamper proof, i.e. you must not be able to add anything in afterwards.

Oh crap

How do I do that?

Will Staples do it?

Is Staples open today?

When does it have to be in?

Staples might do it, or try Kall Kwik.

I don't know if they will do it for you, although I think they are probably open. You could ring them and ask. Does your College not have an office that could help you with this? Mine did.

Another option is a soft cover with glue on the spine - that needs to be heat treated.
When does it need to be handed in?

KatyMac · 15/03/2009 15:01

Tuesday

So I have 3 tasks & 2 articles do they all go in one binder?

Do I add an index?

Oh crap I will have to renumber all the pages

OP posts:
thumbwitch · 15/03/2009 15:03

Defo need an index and yes it all goes in one. If the articles are like appendices then they obviously go at the back.

KatyMac · 15/03/2009 15:03

The last lot was just loose - I wasn't expecting this

Not being funny, KatyMac, but didn't your tutor give you guidance on this before now?

KatyMac · 15/03/2009 15:04

Q2 said choose 2 articles

OP posts:
KatyMac · 15/03/2009 15:04

Only met him twice - we discussed what went in to it not what it was in

OP posts:
thumbwitch · 15/03/2009 15:05

And another thing - do you need to give them one or two copies?
Usually major coursework that needs binding also requires two copies to be sent in...

KatyMac · 15/03/2009 15:10

3

I got my head round that (well I haven't cos it all need re numbering )

OP posts:
KatyMac · 15/03/2009 15:21

Actually no-where else does it say it needs binding

Not on the website or anywhere

OP posts:
KatyMac · 15/03/2009 15:49

The "Information for students submitting examinable work" booklet says nothing about binding

So I am going to put it in a folder

OP posts:
KatyMac · 15/03/2009 19:57

Tutor very kindly emailed me (on a sunday no less)

No I don't need it bound

Phew
