Does anyone know where I can find out what the rules are for the running of holiday clubs that operate during half term/ school holidays?
At the last half term DD went to a lovely holiday club run at local private school but I realise with hindsight that I had been really lax in not checking it out properly. For example: there was no signing in/out book when I dropped off DD and collected her. A couple of the staff were teachers but I don't know about the others or what the ratio of staff to kids was. I have since heard that a child was "lost" at last summer's holiday club. I've written to the owner of the school asking the above questions but have heard nothing. DD would like to go back but my instinct tells me to find out more - because if anything happened I'd never forgive myself.
