Yep, I would also like a break tomorrow. Sorry to put this into perspective but DH is (hopefully?) flying home from Afghanistan tonight after 6 weeks away. He's done 6 weeks on/2 weeks off for the last year (inluding Christmas away) so I quite look forward to the odd break

...and he's not even in the military....

dilemma456 - I know it's all relative to your own situation so you have my sympathy and I hope you get some real "me" time this weekend. We all need it .

I keep thinking one day soon I will have an easy day, but then reality kicks in and I realise that life with a 19 week old, nearly 3 year old, 9 year old and 12 year old doesn't involve 100% easy days.

Unless on holiday and that does,'t happen often enough!!

i sympathise, dilema , i felt shocking thursday and friday while dh was at work, both dcs ahve got viral infections and i had burning scratchy throat, pain in ears and throat, throbbing headache and woozy, feel like i'm going to faint feeling all the time. however, as dh doesn't get home from work til late, i had to get dcs to bed, i did ironong so it didn't build up, started tea then made dh take over tea when he got in. dh promised he would take kids out for walk today so i could cvegetate, but instead... he now feels rotten too, but wheras i muddled on, he has flounced off to spare room and been arsing about reading sleeping since 2pm, and this morninf ds slept so dh, in his own words, dd nothing (that included not doing any spare ironing or getting washing out of washing machine and pegging out etc..) while i lugged dd out for a walk to help dh... hmm.. think i cocked up my plan for a spot of slobbing out there, didn't i? i just want to read the papers or a bok or a magazine in peace!!!!!
