I'm thinking of signing up for this for June and just wondered if anyone has done it and what you think of it.

Maths is my worst subject and i'd like to improve it.

I have done MU120, which I enjoyed. I am doing MST121 now, and I am finding this course much harder.

The reviews for Starting with Maths are pretty good, so I would go for it.

Thanks

Did you find that you are given enough support ?? Maths tends to panic me if I think I don't understand something and I don't want to be left struggling.

I did this course last year and thought it was a great introduction to getting back into Maths. It's not too technical - there's no algebra for instance - it's more everyday maths and I found it really enjoyable. The support off the tutor was great and they help you with the TMAs to check that you're on the right track.
Like Madsometimes I went onto MU120 and am now doing MST121 which is more technical and harder work.

I did S151 maths for science 2 years ago which was good, then MST121 and MS221 last year, now braving MST209. If you are wanting to gradually build up your maths I have found this very good. Good luck xx
