Tots Bots EasyFit

4andnotout has just inspired me to post this.

I have one in Fluffle material, and have a real love/hate relationship with it. However now that dd is bigger, and I'm less squeamish about pulling out wee-soaked tongues and boosters I'm wondering about getting a couple more, either in the fluffles or bamboo. I think they'd make brilliant nursery nappies.

I love the bright outers, the quick drying, the design.
I hate the way that the anti-wick strips inside the nappy stained (from a truly awful teething nappy), and the way that dd seems to be in between rise settings at the moment.

Does anyone else use them, and how do you get on with them? I'd be particularly interested to hear about the bamboo ones.
Thank you!

I have just got a bamboo one - interesting to know the strip stains.

I chuck in the machine as it is - don't pull tongue out until clean.

ive got a bamboo easyfit, the outer takes an age to dry, its the only one out of my stash i have to dry in the tumble dryer the rest dry overnight. i havent found it fantastic absorbancy wise, it needs extra boosting on top of the inserts that come with it.

havent had any staining issues but then my DD is 21 months, and the poo tends to stay in the middle.

all in all i am in two minds about it, but then ive only used it a handful of times, its barely a week old.

dont know if that helps or adds to the confusion!

Thanks for the replies.

We had a massive leak this afternoon, so I think I'll put it away until dd's gained a couple more pounds.

I have one, DD is 15lbs but skinny, I can't get poo to stay in it because the legs clearly don't touch her skin. It looks nice when it's on but thus far completely useless for poos.

My dd is 20lbs, and I still had to have the easyfit snapped to the medium setting as we get daylight through the legholes on the large setting. I ought to know better, Flexitots are huge on her too.

My DD is 15 and a half pounds, smallest rise setting still doesn't make the legs touch, seems we have the same problem as you Afterglow.

Birth to potty seems very optimistic here, doesn't it? I'm thinking maybe 18months to potty.

Im famous

So i now have the bamboo and fluffle version, dd3 hasn't ever leaked out of either and seems to have just the right amount of absorbancy which is a as she pisses like a horse. DD4 keeps leaking out of the leg holes though She wee's less and the booster feels dry when i take it out but the wee seems to come out of the side of the nappies.

I also had the stained leg cuffs not so bad now have had a day in the sun though and i think over summer they will be stainfree.

The fluffle version is 100% better for drying times than the bamboo version.
