Just had to share - my 6 month old has started crying to be put down! At about 4 months she did not want to be out of my arms and for the last couple of months I have literally just done everything, hoovering, laundry etc with her in a sling. Now she is 'asking' to be put down to play on the floor! Woohoo, I may actually get laid this year!!

Just wanted to post in case anyone else was in the same boat

It's great isn't it? I have had 2 velcro babies so when they finally get a bit of independence, it's great. The best bit is actually being able to go to the loo by yourself, I found.
