My son is almost 8 and iirc he is 135cm tall. According to a check I have just done he doesn't need a seat anymore going on his height. ????????

that's right, if he is really that tall (and that's pretty tall!!!) then by law he doesn't need a seat.

That is why I am confused. I can't find where I have written down his measurements and clothes wise I buy from 10 years upwards. I need to remeasure I think.

He is 127cm so we have time. No idea where I got 135cm from.
