...to those who got their timing right of course

Massive drink a bit earlier, while waiting for the bath to run maybe, or with tea if the timing is right. I learned that on here!

We started the day ds1 asked to do a wee on the potty - he was ready and was dry within a couple of days.

Had a few false starts, but at 2.11 DS announced that he didn't want to wear a nappy any more and since then he hasn't ( except for pooing when he requests one). He has had very few accidents and quite honestly I'm really glad I didn't push to do it earlier.

My Ds decided himself by refusing a nappy one morning.
He was in nursery the next day, and they said 2 other children had done the same thing that morning too.
I didn't envy the nursery staff, but did wonder if the children had had a secret meeting and planned it

Has anyone else had it where their dc asks to sit on the toilet a couple of times but don't do anything when sat on it?

My dd did this today, she wouldn't let me put her nappy on, asked to go to the toilet but did nothing when sat on it. Then peed in her pyjama bottoms after refusing a nappy. Am wondering if this is just a game to her?

For us, we don't do bed time milk anymore. we have a small amount of milk (2-3 oz) in the evening with a snack, then quiet play (Hahaha - yeah, sure)or DVD, bath, teeth, story and bed. He usually does a wee in the bath which is highly amusing, of course.

"Today is the day" when he was weeing in places to see our reaction - like my wellies (charming) or the fire place.
