I got mine in the post today! It looks lovely, I was amazed having totally forgotten about it since it had been so long! Anyone else get a parcel?

Is it a washable nappy?

Indith · 09/03/2009 16:23

Think a couple of people have got them now which is good news, here's hoping ,mine is on it's way!

ceolas · 09/03/2009 19:03

I got one today too.

Indith am I right in thinking you're a terries expert? I have a friend who's thinking about using them full time. What would you say are pros/cons? Have you used different sizes?

minxpinx · 09/03/2009 19:18

Still waiting in hope!

Indith · 09/03/2009 19:30

Oh I do love terries ceolas

I have bright bots which I used from around 5 months on ds I think and still fine now he is 2, Little Ewes are great on ds now but they are very thick and have thick bindings so not so good on smaller babies. Nappy nation bamboo, great on smaller ones as nice and slim but they don't cut it for ds's toddler wees now and some mothercare which are ok as emergency nappies, pad folded as boosters etc.

I personally wouldn't bother with different sizes, 60cm can be folded perfectly well for a baby and will still fit a toddler. Just use muslins for when they are newborn.

Oooh I looked into stocking those - interested to see the feedback.

Tis Flamesparrow btw

nappyzonehasastroppytoddler · 09/03/2009 19:59

they are quite good flamey - mark up isnt bad either

Indith · 11/03/2009 14:21

Well it was a lovely fit on dd and very absorbant even without having been washed (impatient? Me?). Shall have to try it on ds next!

still haven't got mine yet although neighbour tells me postie has been disciplined for doing bad things with the post so maybe he has snaffled it!

soon2befamilyof4 · 11/03/2009 16:57

I didn't get a free one as I didn't see the post but I do own one. I find they take AGES to dry so I wouldn't have it as an only nappy. TBH I have hardly used it since we got it a few weeks back. I should start using it more now I have got my spare room sorted and can leave it hanging in there for a couple of days.

Indith · 11/03/2009 20:31

I don't think drying time is too bad actually since it got used today on ds having been used on Monday with dd. Ok fit on ds but not as good as dd and he isn't exactly a large 2 year old so I doubt it would use bigger or sturdier toddlers.
