When is the best time to change from nappies to those "Pull Up" Pants? Despite encouragement, 22 mo ds not showing much sign of being ready for potty training. Therefore, is it best to wait until he is ready to change to these or good to get them in the habit early? TIA

pull up pants are just nappies that you can pull up and down for ease of use. 22 months is still early though so dont despair just yet. I did use them (as nappies) but also introduced ds to the toilet/potty too at around your lo's age. He was quite receptive to it and we stopped using the nappies (pull ups) from around the age of 2.

Thanks Seona1973, do you think it's better to wait till a bit further along with the whole potty training thing before using them?

I used them as an introduction to potty training as they were easier than taking a proper nappy on and off several times a day. DS was showing interest in the toilet and would come and sit on the step stool in the bathroom when I went to the toilet and then pretend to wipe himself with toilet roll (still fully clothed!) so I knew he was getting ready to start. He was very young so I knew there was no rush so didnt go straight to pants. When he got to the stage of telling me he needed to pee/poo while still in his pull up then I put him into pants.
