PLEASE..can ANYBODY help me?????

for some unknown reason, my WORD has decided to ignore what im asking it to do.
basically it takes ages for me to enter it and then when i do i "click" on file to retrieve my essay.... the eggtimer comes up after 10 mins nothing happens so i -ctrl,alt and delete and the task mamanger tells me that word is not responding.. how can i get to my work?????

have you tried closing it down and reopening word again? word should have saved most of your document and give you the option of retreiving it when you next go in...

just do a total re-boot if that doesn't work.

yes I would recommend reboot too.

start button (bottom left of screen), shut down, then chose restart... good luck

Start button might be on bottom right of screen, like mine
