I'm trying to make a list of something to do each day with DD as she does get bored of staying in the house all the time so after visiting my local library so that DP could borrow a CD I noticed that they have a corner with some toys and lots of books.

DD is only 13 months is this going to stimulating for her? Also she's not exactly a quiet child do you think this would be a bad thing for the library?

She LOVES books btw

Some of them have baby story reading. I read to ds at a very early age, he enjoyed it. They are always welcome in a library.

Go and find out!

OUr ocal library has a weekly story time with loads of stories then a colouring in time. My dc were both a bit noisy but the library staff were just really gald that some kids turned up and didn't seem to mind ds eating the DVD cases...

Go and ask them if they do a story or rhyme time sessions, they can be great fun for lo's. Also times have changed quite a bit and I don't think libraries are as strict as they used to be on quietness. They wouldn't have toys and things out if small children weren't welcome, and no one can expect very small babies/children to be quiet.

DS and DD have been members of the library since they were very small. We all love going .

Many libraries have Baby Rhyme Time sessions which are free of charge. I looked at your profile and found this which might be helpful

Well its kinda wierd as there is this little corner in the main library then there's also another seperate room with more children's books in so I'm not entirely sure.

I wouldn't mind asking but the librarian that always seems to be there doesn't like to answer questions and can be VERY abrupt.
