noticed this the other week when we watched Polar Express (he got it for Xmas but not had time to watch. He cried and had to switch if off and tonight he cried and got very upset at a little sad bit in Car's the Disney film. He sobs...bless him!!

I hadnt realised how at such an early stage they could get so emotional!!

my 4 and a half year old DD has had tears streaming down her cheeks before now. I think they get really into the story and believe it IYSWIM Bless

DD cries at beauty and the beast everytime she thinks the beast has died (she's three and a half, and loves this film)

Today she watched Bee Movie and she spent the whole time saying "but Bees cant talk" and "mummy, mosquitos cant talk"

I was torn between the "its only a cartoon sweetheart" and the "have you ever tried speaking to them" lines of arguements!

My DS has recently watched WALL.E and he bawls everytime! He must have seen it at least 25 times. Dear little man!

I just didnt realised how early they felt/connected. He gets upset though and asked for it to be taken off!!!

I must admit I do think Polar Express with the music and eeriness is a little scarey for 3-4 yr olds

Ds exactly the same. Bawls at Wall.E and we've had to throw Charlotte's Web out! Poor little man
The other day he told me "that music's making me feel quite sad mum"
I don't know what to do!
