Ok, her nappy is off, she's sat on the potty and the wait begins...

Dd2 will be 3 next month, she is Non-verbal (ASD), she starts main stream nursery in April and i would love for her to be potty/toilet trained.

She has been sat on the potty for 10 minutes with a drink and c-beebies on the tv (to keep her still).

Has any one got any experience of toilet training a non-verbal ASD child?

Any advice greatfully recieved .

While some people think it is a bit ick, we always allowed our SN (not ASD) son the be in the toilet with us, he trained later than average, but he really was interested in learning it for himself because Mum and Dad did it.
