Thats it really I have one from Mothercare and it is shite.
Looking for one a bit bigger and air tight lid.
dh is moaning about the smell.
I dry pail (left for 2 days max)
I also use tea tree and Lavendar.
TIA

I don't use a "proper" nappy pail. I got a kitchen swing bin from Wilkinsons which cost about £5. The lid is fairly well fitting. There is no noticeable smell (like you I dry pail and don't leave longer than 2 days)

In summer I drape a damp flannel over the contents with a few drops of essential oil.

The bin is easy to drop nappies in and plenty roomy enough.

thanks for that.
Yes I noticed my dh had put a flannel over top of nappies with drops of lavendar on.

I have a 2 yr dd and she is constantly taking the lid off, whenever we are in the nursery.thats why I am looking for something bit better.

Onelife have a lockable lid - you can get them from www.teamlollipop.co.uk - I think!

Large bucket with lid from local tool shop. They said they always sold them for nappy buckets! Mind I used the Mothercare ones without any problems too, they are just a bit small.

I kept ours in the bathroom (one upstairs one down)- can you not do that? Then it's handy for flushing and the children less likely to get their hands on it.

Best nappy bucket I've ever had was a beer brw=ewing barrel from Wilkinsons - lovely and big with a really good sealing lid, and 1/10 the price of a nappy bucket!

There was a voucher for a free angelcare one in one of the bounty bags. It's pretty good!
