Anyone else need a kick to get some essays done?

Haven't needed to be on here for a while, due to having time to get on with some work.

But, I've got five pieces of work to get in through March, and one for April (disertation proposal).

So, anyone else need that kick to get work done. It seemed to work for a few of us last term.

well...Survey is done, just need to print it out in a mo.
probably put it onto my memory stick aswell...so, if they want to change anything else, we can do it there and then...

i still havent done it, have printed out my creativity essay i need to hand in tuesday tho. and dd is home early so looks like i am not going to get anywhere today, unless she goes to bed early enough
am so not with it today

Jampot - Im also doing DD100, but I started last October and currently on Block 3.

My advice would be, if you are short of time, find out what chapters in the book are most relevent to your assignment and focus mainly on those. Do read through the rest quickly, and if you have time, make notes etc. IIRC, info I needed for the first assessment was on the introduction and 2 sections of one chapter! My question will have been different to yours though.

i AM going to finish the lit review tonight, not gonna go to bed til its done.
as i have a mon morning to study in library, but i have an extra lecture this week and its tomorrow morning so i def. need to do it tonight

I did mine about whether Sure Start centres are designed to benefit children or the Government. I couldn't believe how much people have written on this subject. So glad it's done. It's my first lit review though so only time will tell whether I've done it right!

Oh, I should learn to read! I'm with Plymouth Uni. Trying to decide where to do my third year at the moment or whether to do it online.

hehe what was your conclusion after all the reading- i have a sneaky suspicion it was for the governments benefit

evening all...im about to try and get a couple of hours work done, have essay due in tomorrow, have done all my reading now, but will prob have to find a few more bits a long the way. all i have to do now is write it up. im hoping to do 2000 words in 2 hours? but i think i have the same chances of pigs flying! lol!
also have exam tomorrow afternoon, so want to try and get it out of the way so that i have more time to go over it!

i have dd in bed so now trying to work, i have just written 250 words. so just need another 2-300. but running out of ideas fast i have used all the lit. i had so think i may need to be looking for a little bit more

i think i will do a countdown that way i seem to write alot quicker, good news is exam tomorrow is is topics covered in the essay so killing 2 birds with 1 stone! what is your essay on dylsmum?

littlemiss thats very helpful if you can revise whilst writing your essay. agree with fairlady you do seem very calm.

i'm doing a research prject on parent partnership in the nursery i volunteer in. am trying to do the lit review at the moment, am very pleased as i have just found the perfect article, i am now at 1741 words so just going to spend 100 or so words wrapping it all up and i have done what i needed to do for tonight.

i can't get any further than this as i havent yet finished collecting my data so cant do my discussion on my findings/ conclusion etc. am hoping to have all data by this thursday so will no doubt be on here next weekend trying to motivate myself to get it all finished

not at all calm, but apparently wiser than some of the others on my course who are out on the piss tonight, i only know this i have just received a few texts asking if i want to join them...needless to say i declined the offer.

toddler maimer i am always suprised by those on the course who have such great social lives and sligtly too.

i have finished for tonight am very suprised as i expected to be at it late into the night as i was so lacking motivation all day and avoiding it.

think i may go so what is on the box now before i head off to bed. i have an early start tomorrow so need to leave by 7.15am. still at least i only have one dc to drop off, ds is at grandads who is taking him to school for me tomorrow

i had lectures this morning and spent the afternoon searching for journa articles for my portfolio i need to do

well i am all done, now i only have 1 essay ( due mid march) and my dissertation to do. so feel a little more relaxed. i thnk i need to start going into the uni libary to get work done as i always gert so much done there. think it is because i dont have to thnk about hoovering, washing etc when there and im not tempted to just pop a load in the wash and quickly run the hoover around! lol
how is everyone else going on?exa went better than i had assumed it would..again very thankful not to have hangover!
