4 year old and 8 month old sharing a room - any advice, please?

We're going to stay with my parents who live in France in March/April for 10 days.

This time our DS will be 8 months old and sleeps really well in his own room at home. DD also has her own room at home. However, there isn't enough room for DD and DS to each have their own room, so I was thinking of putting them in together for the holiday.

Do you think this is a good idea, and is there anything I can do to make it more likely to be a success?

Any advice welcomed.

I think that if they both sleep well at home you should do ok.
Our two boys, 2 yr old and 16 month old, sometimes sleep together when we visit the in laws, and take a little more settling than normal but sleep fairly well.
I think the fact that their ages aren't close together they'll probably not try and play around at bedtime anyway.

Good Luck. Your other option if there is room is to have your DS in the room with you and DD have her own room.
