DD is 3 and very timid, doesnt like the idea of trying anything new.
My mum has offered to take her and DS aged 15 mths swimming this morning.
DD is already crying and saying she wants to stay here with me.
I dont think its about leaving me-she is very happy to be left at nursery school now and loves her nana and is happy to be with her usually.
I cant go with them as im not a member.
Im really torn as she did this last week about something else and thoroughly enjoyed it when we went ahead anyway -really dont know what to do for the best,do i make her go or let her stay here with me?
What would you do?

just seen you aren't a member - can you not watch from the gallery?

she is only 3

You know your mum, and if you know she won't force her to do anything she doesn't want to then encourage her to go - even if you DD just sits on the side. If she sees your DS having fun, she will be happier to go next time.

If she is kicking and screaming, don't make her go.
