Knitting pattern for wool wrap - comments please

Have been poking around for a pattern for knit-your-own wrap. Discovering they're called "soakers" in North America really helped
Have never tried wool wraps though, so would appreciate the thoughts of anyone who has on
this pattern - especially the bit round the legs.

I prefered the ones with a bit of leg - short for summer and longies for winter, one of the best things about them is not having to make sure all the nappy is tucked in.
