I am quite happy but I just want to get a number of small things off my chest:

DS wet himself three times yesterday!!!!!
Thomas has 'arrived' in our house and I am very fed up with theme tune and 'cinders and ashes' + 'flatten my funnel'
Constant chatter from DS
Picking DH clothes off floor every morning and occasionally dirty boxers off bathroom floor
Trying to count points for sodding WW diets
Stressing about a bloody dinasaur cake I said I would make - I'm faltering to buy one from asda
Black fluff on pale carpet
Bin men not turning up even when there is no snow
Being bored and feeling guilty (new SAHM ish)
Dry skin on chapped hands
Bikini line that refuses to be tamed and upsets my swimming intentions.
Constantly hearing 'can I have one more snack' how much is he gonna bloody eat
Washing up - umpteen times a day

AND YES I HAVE BEEN STCUK IN BLOODY HOUSE FOR FOUR DAYS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Who's bloody idea was that stupid granny murray programme on cbeebies? And why does it have to coincide with the time that DD2 decides to BF and nap on my lap so I ended up watching it every blooming day with DD1...

milkysallgone · 06/02/2009 10:59

I'm here!

If I hear "I'm hungry" one more time, followed by refusal of every food offered I will scream.

"She hit me, he said stupid, she's not letting me play, the train's come off the track (for the zillionth time!) etc etc...you get the picture.

I have an imminent hen do to organise and am feeling a bit daunted.

I have short bridesmaid to dress to wear and have just polished off 2 hot crosss buns with butter so thick ot looked like cheese .

Depite good intentions I have already partaken in fishwife-bawling at the dcs today.

There are my gripes for the moment.

Oooh lovely, I love a good whinge me!!

Things that are currently irritating me...

the fact that when I get up in the morning I don't stop from the second I open my eyes to dashing out the front door while dh has a leisurely shower and checks his fantasy football bollocks

The fact I've got to work two weekends in a row

I can't do any overtime this month for some extra cash because I dared to take a week off sick when I was having a mc so I'm under hours, and if I did do any overtime it would be for no money as I've got to make up the hours I lost when I was off sick

I've got so much to do to get our house ready for sale, but I just can't be arsed... not angry about that one, just apathetic, we need a meh emoticon.

I have absolutely no will power about losing weight.

I look so old because I'm so tired all the time, I always looked much younger than my age but exhaustion is putting paid to my one genetic blessing.

Oh there's so much more

girlandboy · 06/02/2009 11:13

Dc's moaning this morning that their schools were OPEN!

Whining all the way to school.

Got a persistant sinus problem that won't clear up.

I'm cold.

My birthday tomorrow and I look about 90.

Everyone has already given me my birthday presents and insisted that I open them, so have nothing left to open tomorrow.

Have got to trudge down the garden in a minute because I've just put the last log on the fire, and I need some more.

Better leave it there before I get too depressed.

HeadFairy · 06/02/2009 11:25

Perhaps we should start a thread about things we're about but that others are whingeing about.... I'm very of your fire girlandboy, I'd love an open fire.Even trudging down to get logs would be worth it, but then cleaning out grates does grate

moonmother · 06/02/2009 11:25

Cabin fever here - been in since Wednesday

DD (8) likes the snow but doesn't want to go out in it

Ds(5) loves the snow, and being out in it, but won't go outside on his own

cue loads of bickering about playing out in the snow,

plenty of "OH I'm Bored" even though they have plenty of toys/things to entertain them.

I work from home, and with Dc's here working is near on impossible

Washing pile is climbing steadily- tumble dryer is down the garden in the shed, and I'm not trampling through a foot of snow to get it dry- airers are full at the moment- but it takes ages to dry

Dp has just emailed me to tell me he's off to the pub for lunch

So

In desperation and for the sake of my sanity I'm getting us all dressed warmly and going to trudge to the local Asda to get some chocolate bits in, to make the day pass more smoothly.

MaplePecanPlait · 06/02/2009 11:31

OK

Fed up of meal planning and counting pennies

Want to go out and buy a dress (why?)

Too fat - and still eating

Can't bear cooking cakes with the DCs as they ask too many questions (now I really am a bad mother) so I have done them secretly whilst they watched TV.

COLD.

bigeyes · 06/02/2009 11:41

Oh relief tis not just me.....

I did bake the WW muffins and O point soup but have eaten cheese sandwich, looking for excuses not to go to gym as drive seems to have cleared a bit

Have saved some boxes and gonna atempt junk modelling this afternoon - but you what its like I get all the paints and glue out its over in 10 minutes then clean it up eek I will have to try and build a thomas engine I guess to keep him engaged

Ok I'm talking to myself now, but I have no more moans and thanks guys for sharing.

SMUGLY REPORTS...

I have made a lamb hotpot and done 'junk modelling' with DS we made a fantastic thomas! with glitter and other bits if customised apparel.

DS has had a 3 hr nap and promptly requested a snack and a specific episode of thomas DVD, hence I am turfed back onb here.

Would you believe he actually said to me earlier Mummy you go back on the internet when I walked in to lounge before his nap! Well I am very sorry son are you nnot mummys friend? he replied with a hug and said I was his best friend! Awwwwwwwwwww

cooled down about DH's antics and looking forward to some company tonight. Now where is that dinasaur cake recipe........ or should I go with priate one? - treasure chest, boat or face of pirate? Oh feck I can see myself down asda again.

I forgot to put the Jacket Potatoes in for tea so dd ended up with fishfingers, peas and toast.

Ds had a mad tantrum because I put a chocolate croissant instead of a ring doughnut in his packed lunch - he has autism so we had to go to the bakery before school to replace it. I just was not in the blardy mood!

Ex dh rang and told me all about his night out at the Casino last night - thanks for that!

My ds's birthday this weekend and all his aunts want to come and see him. I just can't be arsed with it - not his birthday, I love that but all the visitors.

I am skint but I can't even consider getting a job because I could not put ds into any kind of childcare, he barely manages school and I have to be around to go in when he needs me.

My upstairs neighbour keeps playing incredibly loud music and is just a complete selfish cow.

JustKeepSwimming · 06/02/2009 18:43

It's my birthday and i'm not feeling suitably spoilt

i have a headache from spending too long on this new look MN which is too pale.

dh has fallen asleep leaving me 'i/c' the DCs again.

not too much today, as have the next 2 days with full-time DH and lots of jobs i want to get done.

...shunting trucks and hauling freight....

bigeyes · 06/02/2009 19:06

Ouch fleur that does sound very justified
in terms of moaning -I know exactly what you mean about the visitors.

But fishfingers sounds great to me

Its crappy when you skint but I really do think you are giving to your DS what no one else could give and that is your love.

That DH is a bit of a sort I am convinced its silly month for these feckless men. But DH has come in early ive sent him for a relaxing bath, wink wink - he then has to take DS with him in a bit, save me doing it as usual in morning.

They do have their moments - I know autistic children like routine, including donuts isnt that bad - but can see your point hope you enjoyed choc croissant!

Its friday and ive got the bloody arches on feck feck definately not the rock chick anymore!

Justkeep - Oh dear, put a bloody bomb up his bum! Big birthday wishes for you. Do you know what I would get up v early and go out and buy yourself nice things, even if just from asda. Cook yourself bday breakfast and make your point without saying anything!

Happy birthday to you happy birthday to you.......

Molly's tender is here but she is missing, if she has any brains she's off on a date with gordon - he always sounds like he would have plenty money!
