Fuzzi Bunz leaking (sort of)

Hello everyone

I have to admit I am cheating a bit at this - we use a nappy service - but it was a gift from my aunty that financially I couldn't refuse so we went with it. I'm really happy with the service and love the nappies so far - but we have started to have some problems with them.

Basically we are using fuzzi bunz with the microfibre inserts. The problem is that where the PUL outer meets the fleece inner liner, if I don't fold the edge over, the wetness has started to wick from the nappy onto DS' clothes. He is 4 months so just starting to get a little bit more mobile and I can't seem to get the edges to stay folded over, so he always gets wet unless I change his nappy straight away after every single wee - and he seems comfortable in them until they leech onto his clothing so I can't always tell in time.

Any advice?

no advice i'm afraid but I had the exact same problem with mine first time round.
must be partly shape of baby because I didn't get it at all with ds2, and I was using the same nappies and everything.

I use fuzzi bunz with my lo. I found that the microfibre inserts were just not enough to soak everything up. He is now 20months old and I stuff mine with 1 x microfibre insert, 1 x bamboo square and 1 x hemp insert - that has solved the problem

Aside from adding an extra insert of booster, you may find that it's the vest working in at the side of the Fuzzi bunz, you can solve this by using a vest extender

Fuzzi Bunz inserts are not absorbent enough. We were using a different stuffing system when we were with FBs.
