really happy with bg but now that ds is getting more mobile I am searching for a real nappy that's more flexible around the tummy.

I am finding that as he moves bg leaks around the leg and sometimes he is sick when he doubles over to reach for things. Also having to change the nappy at night to avoid morning wetness.

Is there a suitable easy to use alternative thats more flexible... preferably a pocket nappy and one that fits a 6 month plus baby?

all ideas welcome

hi cityangel

I love my BG too, but know what you mean about the tummy thing... DS2 is 8mo and not crawling, so w-i-d-e in the tum department!
Have you tried GreenKids? I find they seem to have more elastic round the back, which does mean you have to be careful to pull the tab out to the side before you fasten it on the velcro tab, to avoid leaks at the back, but seems to leave more flexibility all round once fastened?

Otherwise, have you got any poppered nappies? e.g. fuzzi bunz, wonderoos, weenotions pockets with poppers? they might not dig in so much at the front... though depends where you popper them, of course. I really like my Fuzzi Bunz for this.. seem very comfy and flexible.

My LO's not walking yet, though, so might not be relevant...

thanks mmistermoo yes not too much in a hurry for walking crawling as we need more space/ safety... however he clearly isn't comfortable will look at those ideas

I have wonderoos and they seem very comfy on my 8 month old and look fab too!

I also use tots bots fluffles (but they do need a wrap over)they seem really comfy too, but needs roomy clothes over the top. Although they are quite new and I presume will get less 'fluffy'. They are the nippa fastening ones so I can get them to fit his tum perfectly.

I don't know much about other brands. Perhaps something really low in the rise would help you? A nappy expert on here would possibly be able to point you in the direction of a nappy that is. Calling lollipop, rachelinscotland etc...

(DS2 between about 4 and 7 months had the same 'pukeing' problem but caused by his bumbo not nappies)
