My ds1 made breakfast this morning (toast) - shall I make it his job?

He made toast for himself and his brother this morning, safely and competantly. He's 5. Shall I make it his job or is that mean/neglectful etc?

If he is competant (which he clearly is), doesn't mess (which my dd1,9yrs, does) then I would let him.

Though you may eventually get fed up of toast lol.

Absolutely! Tick breakfast off the list of 'things I hope not to have to do one day' too!

I remember when dd first made me a cup of tea competantly, it was a wonderful day!
