Hi everyone.

Think im feeling abit down at the mo. Have 2 DD's, one is 6yrs old and one is 2yrs old. I am on my own all week as DH is at business school and also studies one day at weekend.

I finding DD2 very hard at the mo. She is nasty to DD1, hitting, scratching, pinching etc all the time. She will hit me and shout at me. I put her on the naughty step but that doesnt seem to do anything. I dont know what to do with her. She has just started nursery 2 mornings a week but I feel like that isnt enough! I feel like im loosing my rag with her and I will smack her and shout at her and I know this isnt good and I get so angry when telling her off.

I was going to start taking her favourite teddy away but dont think that will work as she doesnt always have it downstairs and it's her comforter.

Any help would be greatly recieved as im desperate!

Thanks for your reply.

Cant get anymore sessions at mo.

Yes think I will do the bedroom from now on.

I think her main problem is she is bored but there is only so much playdoh, painting etc you can do in a day!

Thing is we do lots in the week, toddler group once a week, seeing friends. Her behaviour is normally worse when DD1 is around and today I have them both at home because DD1 school is closed!
