Can anyone point me to information on risks of ttc/childbirth for older parents please?

Desperately trying to stop feeling so broody and need some stats to make me come to my senses (I am nearly 44 and have 3 children already)!

Many thanks

Bumping.....

and

Hello! I know how you feel...I would love #5 and have been ttc for a little while, in reality it is maybe a bad idea as I've had 4 c-sections, (even though I've had an ok from the consultant!) and as it hasn't happened this month dh wants to stop...
I probably can't make you come to your senses, when you're broody there is no sense!!! my mum had her 8th at 42......

I know - it's a completely crazy idea, but it doesn't stop me being broody!

I hope your DH comes around again soon ...

No it's not a crazy idea.....but yes broodiness is a real pain esp if it's one-sided!
