What fundraising events do you support at school or attend that you enjoy?

out of interest just wondering what you enjoy and what you would always make an effort to support and why?

we have recently had two things that got a great turn out and everyone enjoyed

• first was a book-publishers booksale coffee morning (ok i am rubbish at explaining) they got a book publisher in and the deal was that for every book sold, they donated one to the school library. we all got our chrimbo pressies, the choir sang christmassy stuff (beginning of december) and a good time had by all

the other was a Body shop "at home" party for the mums, but rather than in someones home it was in the school hall. again school got a good donation by percentage of stuff sold. as if we needed guilt-free permission to buy body shop stuff?
