Think the weather is making me feel a bit down too.
They are 3 and 1.

Can someone suggest somethings I can do with them for the rest of the day?

(we've had, books, jumping on cushions, some colouring and some time on the pc for the 3 year old.)

I'm bored too. Roll on summer!

Wintersun · 23/01/2009 15:10

Oh dear Chops.

I can't wait for the summer either.

I'm just not very good at staying in. I'd rather be out but couldn't manage it today.

Dvd is for 5.30 after their dinner I'll need some peace and quiet by then!

i've got a 3yr and 1 yr too.
Me and littlest one are ill and so cant be arsed with usual fun stuff

We have done
cbeebies
pull all the dvds off the shelves
frisbee said dvds round the room
more cbeebies
fighting
shouting
etc

Now ds2 gone up for a nap and ds1 has just fallen asleep on the sofa! (he has never done that before and doesnt usually sleep in day so I'm guessing he's getting ill too)

Roll on the weekend when DH is home to help!

ChopsTheDuck · 23/01/2009 15:50

I'm counting down the time til dp gets home too! hour and a half to go and he can shout at take care of the kids for me and then another hour they go to bed and I open the wine!

You could make a den? bring their pillows down to put in it, etc mine love that. Especially if they can pull a sheet across to hide. Only downside, last time I let them make a den it stayed in my lounge for days until I took it apart one night. Ds1 was not happy the next day . . .

Also a bit bored here (2.8 yo, 11 mo). We're all feeling a bit coldy and yucky, although on the mend at last, I think.

Today we have done lots of painting and sticking, playing with Lego and cars, bit of cbeebies, made fairy cakes and prepared stew for dinner, read stories. Ds2 also learnt to climb stairs when I wasn't looking (open-sided - eeeek!)

At the moment the dsses are playing with salad spinners and emptying out all kitchen cupboards.

ohdearwhatamess · 23/01/2009 16:13

Oh we had a fun time spilling blue food colouring everywhere too. It stains very badly.

Gateau · 26/01/2009 09:29

What about taking them out to soft play??!

hoxtonchick · 26/01/2009 09:31
