sorry this sis a very big rant!
no im not insane, well at least i hope.
it just that people comment on oh your at home all the time what do you do? and i want to scream back what the fuck do you think i do, im a full time student now in my 3rd year with a DS of 2, as soon as he is out of the house im either at uni or studying work etc. should i just expect this from people who have never done anything except work? im not being horrible i love my family and friends but sometimes! sorry to rant but it just gets to me. others can undersatnd, i.e. my mum and friends who have studied minus children.
it annys me so much, i would never say what do you do all day at the weekend, why is your washing not ironed you have every night to do it etc, so why should they have the right to assume i do nothing because i am at home in the day on some occasions!"!!!!!!!!

no you are not insane...which will you remember then in ten years.... perfectly ironed clothes or your qualification???

try not to worry about it and label these people DHAC (Don't have a clue)...who knows you might be able to laugh about it

good luck with your studying, you have our admiration

I think some people just can't see what would fill up their day if they didn't work.

I studied at home for 4 years whilst working full time before DS came along and it was flipping hard even without a child.

Take a deep breath, count to 10, smile sweetly and ignore these silly people. (Easier said than done I know but they really aren't worth losing sleep over).

Yes I find this kind of thing VERY annoying. But it really is just impossible for some people to grasp.
