Scared of the toilet

I'm finally going to tackle toilet training with my ds this weekend. He's 3and a half, has never shown any signs of wanting to wear pants. Will not sit on a toilet or potty.
Any suggestions advice would be appreciated.

He has 2 sisters who were so easy to toilet train that I've kind of put it off,but have now decided I must just go for it
Thanks

Bumping for you.

do you let him watch when you all use the loo? Sometimes if they have someone to watch then they get the idea faster. DBs son never trained till he was 5 and they always treated the toilet as some weird magical private space so he had no chance.

what about the stickers that show up when you wee on them? Or the floaty ball thingy that was on dragons den?

Try trainer seat with handles so he has something to hold onto-we found this worked for our DS, now he uses it for poo,s and stands up for a wee.
He used to come into the toilet when we were using it and we woukd wave bye bye to wees and poos as we flushed the toilet together.

I found that boys like to make it a game. I use loo blu and got DS to try and make it go green when he was aiming! Worked a treat (he was 3 and from no previous interest he went straight from nappies to toilet).
