Where to sell my nappies?

I have a couple of modern baby nappies and wraps, an old style fuzzi bunz and old style wonder works (wonderoos) to sell. It seems a bit silly to pay £5 to mumsnet to sell them on the for sale board, I can't sell them on ebay - anyone had good experiences selling elsewhere?
Ta!

Free ads in local paper? Or local NCT?

usednappies.co.uk
clothnappytree.co.uk

some people sell via yahoo, and apparently there is a used nappy thread.

sushistar · 18/01/2009 20:41

ILLMD, have you used either of those sites?

I sold mine in Ebay a few weeks ago.

Didn't mention they were used, but also never claimed or implied in any way that they were new and whenever anyone asked I always let them know that they were used.

In fact I think I made it obvious that they were used without actually saying so. Anyway -good luck., I think there's also a website called used nappycompany.com which is like ebay

ilovelovemydog · 18/01/2009 20:45

Yes, both.

used nappies took a commission. Can't remember if cloth nappy tree did or not...

But a very very nice woman bought the nappies, and then sent me a further £5.00 towards DD's dolls nappies after I mentioned that DD wanted 'proper' nappies for her doll

sushistar · 18/01/2009 20:46

Well I've seen lots on ebay which definatly LOOK used - do you think I can get away with just listing them? HOw did you make it obvious quint? I'm worried someone will buy them and then be cross they're used...

I sold my bambino mios on ebay, they were totally used! But I laundered them well while I used them (well not me..)advertised them as used and got a good price, think it was about £25 and it was at least £100 worth when I bought them. No complaint so it can be done.

Yahoo nappy group

Clothnappytree doesn't take a cut, it's just a forum like this one. UKParentslounge and thenappysite also have nappies for sale sections and don't take a cut.

sushistar · 18/01/2009 21:35

I've l;isted a few on usednappies.co.uk - we'll see how we do!

lollipopmother · 19/01/2009 10:20

Where is the selling forum on cloth nappy addicts as I can't see it.

Deemented · 19/01/2009 16:25

You have to have a certain ammount of posts before you can have access to it.

Deemented · 19/01/2009 16:26

Oh and theres ukpl as well.

lollipopmother · 19/01/2009 19:58

Deemented - That crap, I want to see the for sale forum! Is it any good on there or is there not many sellers?

quint · 20/01/2009 18:55

My ad just said onelife nappies, non smoking home and showed a picture of my nappies rather than one I got from onelife, I think I also said no stains - (looked after them well!)

If anyone had been disapointed I would have just said that at no point did I say the nappies were new - luckily no such problems

Deemented · 20/01/2009 20:01

Lollipop - it's a fantastic forum, not just the buy and sell either - it's one of my main hangouts. Full of people addicted to cloth.

chloejessmeg · 22/01/2009 19:41

There are groups on facebook you can sell Nappies.
