he's 2.8 and not vaguely interested in being a "big boy" but I feel it's time to just get on with it so we've decided pants tomorrow and no going back even if it takes weeks. I have pampers changing mats for accidents in the car, lots of pants and jogging bottoms, star chart and a couple of new Postman PAt books as rewards. any other top tips please?

Bumping for you.

I have a DD just a few months younger and have been thinking about this for a while but like your DS she's not interested in her "big girl" knickers.

Have been throught this twice before so you may think I know what I am doing but that was 5/6 years ago.

Gone a bit greyer since then!!

I found these free Character based reward charts good for dd.
She loves her Dora one.

Good Luck!!

When at home, don't wear pants(him, not you). The need to wee came very suddenly for dd and there wouldn't have been time to pull down nicks as well. Also have potties scattered round the house, so they are always close. Be as positive as you can. Try not to get cross. It can end up as a battle of wills if he thinks it's very important to you, so be matter of fact, not emotional if possible.

Come on here for support. People will always be around for moral support! Good luck!
